Founding Members of the Walk Again Project
An International Neuroscience Network, formed by leading research institutions worldwide, will be responsible for the execution of the scientific goals of the Walk Again Project.
The Duke University Center for Neuroengineering, a leading neuroengineering research institution, which pioneered the creation of the field of Brain-Machine Interfaces over a decade ago, will serve as the global headquarters of the Walk Again Project.
The Center for Neuroprosthetics at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), in Switzerland, will house the European headquarters of the WAP.
The Latin American headquarters will be located at the newly established Brazilian National Institute of Brain-Machine Interface located in Natal, Brazil.
